Pure Thoughts Program

"Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect."   Rom 12:2  ESV

The link between our belief and our behavior is key in our walk in purity. The road to growing in the Christian life is paved with the command 'repent and believe'. As the Spirit illuminates the Scriptures and we realize a truth we've neglected or lie that we have believed in, we must repent and either embrace the truth of reject the lie.  To aid in the renewal of our minds, Scripture must saturate . not just for learning, but for transforming. The best way that we are open to such renewal in through memorization and meditation on God's word.

In adding value to this blog site, there will be Scripture memory verses added on a regular basis. In the battle for a pure mind, we must Train Our Thoughts By Thinking New Thoughts. That means we must think about the truths of Scripture and then "let the word of Christ dwell in you richly," (Col 3;16 ESV). We must chew on or think about Scripture.  By doing this we are replacing sinful thoughts and loving God with our minds. We allow His word to truly be our delight, guide and source of comfort and strength.
